The present invention provides various embodiments which determine a time when users communicating with one another meet by using devices and recommend content at the time of communicating based on operations of the devices of the users, which are performed at the determined time. According to an embodiment, a server comprises: a communication unit which receives a transmission request of a list of content from a first device as the first device receives an input of a first user for communicating with a second user, wherein the content is related to an operation of the first device performed while the first user meets the second user; and a control unit which determines a time when the first user and the second user meet, based on at least one of information on an activity of the first user and information on an activity of the second user and provides a list of content to the first device, wherein the content is related to an operation of the first device performed at the determined time.
