The present invention relates to a water supply apparatus for livestock to provide water to the livestock. The water supply apparatus for the livestock comprises: a water tank receiving water to feed the livestock; a water supply unit for supplying water to the water tank; a drain unit draining the received water; a water level detection unit detecting a water level of the water contained in the water tank; and a control unit including a supply control unit controlling the water supply unit and a drain control unit controlling the drain unit. According to the present invention, the water supply apparatus can detect the water level of the water tank precisely by the water level detection units and supplies the water depending on the detected water level, thereby facilitating management. Moreover, the apparatus supplies clean water to the livestock by periodically draining the water according to input time and frequency, and minimizes waste of the water by allowing the control unit to adjust water supply and drain. |
