PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the capacity of a recording medium by a simple operation. SOLUTION: This reproduction device includes a reproduction means for reproducing information data recorded in the recording medium; a stoppage position storage means for storing a reproduction-stopping position in the information data; and a management means for deleting the information data from the top of the information data to the stored reproduction-stopping position from the recording medium according to the deletion instruction of the information data.
