PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To determine an internal geometrical parameter of an imaging apparatus for whole positions and an external geometrical parameter by arbitrary selection. SOLUTION: An internal parameter is determined for prescribed rotation positions of an X-ray radiation source and a receiving set so called reference positions (P<SB>r</SB>). Variation of the internal parameter of the imaging apparatus between the reference positions (P<SB>r</SB>) and arbitrary second positions (P<SB>n</SB>) of the X-ray radiation source and the receiving set is determined based on a two-dimensional image of a flat phantom placed between the X-ray radiation source and the receiving set at the second positions (P<SB>n</SB>). Last two determinations are repeated on each of n positions of the X-ray radiation source and the receiving set of the imaging apparatus. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
