PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an upper support of a novel structure which is easy in assembly work, and capable of sufficiently obtaining the durability performance and the non-linear spring characteristic, and favorably demonstrating the vibration reduction effect, the abnormal noise suppression effect, and the steering stability, and a suspension device of a novel structure using the upper support. SOLUTION: Three sets of mounting parts 30, 32 on a vehicle body 22 are provided on a flange-shaped part 28 of an outer cylindrical member 14 at substantially equal spacing in the circumferential direction. An upper stopper part 24 and a lower stopper part 54 protruded on the outer circumferential side are provided on both ends in the axial direction of an inner member 12. Three sets of an upper abutting projection 42a and a lower abutting projection 42b which are protruded upwardly and downwardly in the axial direction from the outer cylindrical member 14 and abutted on upper and lower stopper parts 24, 54 are formed in the circumferential direction at substantially equal spacing. An upper bracing projecting part 44a and a lower bracing projecting part 44b facing each other with a predetermined distance therebetween in the axial direction are formed on the upper and lower stopper parts 24, 54 in upwardly and downwardly projecting manner in the axial direction.
