<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus that readily reproduces a malfunction in the forming of an image, an image forming control method, an image forming control program, and a recording medium. <P>SOLUTION: A printer 1 receives print data from a host device at a communication control section 26, transmits the data to a data processing section 21 by passing through a reception buffer 23 as a normal data path. The data processing section 21 interprets the print data to form image data, and then transmits the image data to a printing engine 4 by passing through a printing control section 22 and an engine control section 27. When the printing engine 4 performs a normal printing operation for outputting the print, the print data is accumulated in an HDD 13 by each print job. When reproduction printing is carried out because a false occurs in the printing, the print data in the HDD 13 is passed through the data path, and then the reproduction printing for outputting the print is carried out by the printing engine 4 as in the case of the normal printing operation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
