PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide image processing device, method and program that can achieve images of higher quality.SOLUTION: An estimation value calculator calculates an estimation value of a pixel value of a target pixel on the basis of a pixel which is in the neighborhood of the target pixel on a pickup image and has the same color as the target pixel. A different color difference value calculator calculates a different color difference value on the basis of a pixel which is in the neighborhood of the target pixel and has a different color from the target pixel, the different color difference value being compensated in sensitivity difference of pixels of respective colors. The estimation value calculator adds the calculated estimation value with the different color difference value, and sets the addition value as a final estimation value. A correction part compares the pixel value of the target pixel with the estimation value, and subjects the target pixel to defective pixel correction according to the comparison result.
