PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ship steering system which enables easy addition of an automatic steering function without significantly decreasing an inboard space.SOLUTION: A ship steering system includes: an electric motor 42 which generates power for rotating a steering wheel 32; a transmission mechanism 43 which transmits rotation of the electric motor 42 to the steering wheel 32; and a power supply switch 52 and a control unit 55 which supply electric power to the electric motor 42 according to an input signal which is not based on rotation of the steering wheel 32.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
