PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wear monitoring system of a conveyer belt by which a wear state of an upper cover rubber of the conveyer belt can be recognized accurately.SOLUTION: A wear amount detector 2 is arranged by facing a sensor part 2a to an upper cover rubber 9a on a return side of the conveyer belt 9 in a state that the conveyer belt 9 stops traveling. The wear amount detector 2 is moved along an entire length of a belt width direction by control of a control part 3, and a distance between the sensor part 2a and a surface of the upper cover rubber 9a is detected. Detected data is input to an operation part 4, and a wear amount W of the upper cover rubber 9a is calculated based on the input data.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
