<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the maintenance rate of the light-emitting luminous flux for a fluorescent lamp. <P>SOLUTION: A fluorescent lamp 111 has a light-emitting layer 107, a protective film layer 102 provided at the outside of the light-emitting layer 107, and a glass layer 101 provided at the outside of the protective film layer 102. The light-emitting layer 107 includes a red-emitting phosphor, a green-emitting phosphor, and a blue-emitting phosphor. The blue-emitting phosphor takes a spherical shape. The blue-emitting phosphor is europium-attached active barium magnesium aluminate phosphor (BaMgAl<SB>10</SB>O<SB>17</SB>:Eu).
