The condensate removal device has a condensate catchment cuff (2) with a concave cross-section, fitting in a ring around the vertical cooling pipe (1), its inner edge (4) sealed against the outside of the latter. The condensate catchment cuff is made of a rubber elastic material or glass and incorporates a condensate drainage point (5).
