PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for constructing a water channel comprising a log framing body suited to natural environment for which the framing body is made in one united body for both banks and the period of time for construction is very short. SOLUTION: A framing body 1 comprising more than two of floor crossing logs 2, which are perpendicular to a water channel and are arranged in parallel to each other with a certain interval between them, is arranged at the bottom of the water channel. Each log framing 3 comprises two log walls 4 arranged side by side with a certain interval in parallel to the water channel and a rail 5 or supporting lumber 6 for holding a gap between two log walls 4, each log wall 4 is a row of logs superimposed from the bottom to the top and are fixed to a floor crossing log 2 with a through-bolt 9.
