PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To completely capture foreign matter and impurity even when the foreign mater and the impurity have the size of micron order and even in the case when only one filtration is made by improving the airtightness of a filter itself pass. SOLUTION: An almost zigzag filter material 4 consisting of nonwoven fabric is fitted on the surface of an almost zigzag and cylindrical supporting body 2. The end parts of both sides of the filter material 4 are folded to inside and this part is used as a sealing part 43. The sealing part 43 is elastically connected with the inner surfaces of each caps 3a and 3b and the end surfaces of the supporting body 2 by screwing a nut 37 onto the screw part 36 of an axial core 34. In this way, a gap is not generated between the inner surfaces of end caps 3a and 3b and the end surfaces of the supporting body 2 and the airtightness as the filter 1 is improved. Therefore, foreign matter, impurity, etc., having the size of micron order are surely captured and fluid is finely purified.
