LIQUID DEVELOPING AGENT AND IMAGE FORMING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an environment-friendly liquid developing agent excellent in fixing property of the toner particles to a recording medium, and also to provide an image forming device using this liquid developing agent. SOLUTION: The liquid developing agent has toner particles dispersed in an insulation liquid. The insulation liquid contains unsaturated fatty acid monoester containing an alcohol component with a carbon number of 1-8. The amount of the unsaturated fatty acid monoester in the insulation liquid is 10-80 wt.%, the volume resistivity of the insulation liquid is 1012Ωcm or larger, and the average molecular weight Mw of the resin material is 5,000-15,000. The unsaturated fatty acid monoester in the insulation liquid desirably contains unsaturated fatty acid with a carbon number of 4-18 as the fatty acid components. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
