This electronic endoscope 1 comprises: an insertion section 2 adapted to be inserted into a subject; a distal end hard section 8 consisting of a resin, the distal end hard section 8 having a distal end and a proximal end and provided at the distal end of the insertion section 2; a metallic bending tube 11 interconnected with the distal end hard section 8; objective optical systems 17a, 17b provided to the distal end hard section 8; an image capturing unit 18 for capturing an image formed by the objective optical systems 17a, 17b; a metallic illuminating lens frame 23 for holding an illuminating optical system 22 provided to the distal end hard section 8, the illuminating lens frame 23 being extended toward the proximal end; and a first conductive section 25 for electrically connecting the bending tube 11 and the illuminating lens frame 23. |
