PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the slid-falling of a transfer paper bundle even if a transfer paper bundle made of large sheets of transfer paper is stacked on a transfer paper bundle made of small transfer paper and stapled transfer paper bundles made of small sheets of transfer paper are stacked in tiers. SOLUTION: Plural sheets of transfer paper ejected from an image forming section are temporality housed. Transfer paper bundles reaching a specified number are ejected to the outside by a middle tray 341, the transfer paper bundles ejected from the middle tray 342 are sequentially stacked by a stack tray 382, the transfer paper bundles stacked on the stack tray 381 are shifted alternately in opposite sorting directions by specified shifting amounts and then sorted by a sorting means 343, and if each sheet of the transfer paper has a first specified size, then the transfer paper bundles are sorted by a specified first shifting amount. On the other hand, if each sheet of the transfer paper has a second size smaller than the first size, then the transfer paper bundles are sorted by a second shifting amount larger than the first shifting amount. For controlling this process, a control means is provided.
