PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve cooling performance of a casting mold in order to prevent thermal overloads of a liquid-cooled casting mold of this type and to increase a service life, although the casting mold is a liquid-cooled casting mold for continuously casting metal, which is formed such that the casting mold is provided with casting mold plates 1, 1a made of copper or a copper alloy, which are connected to an adapter plate or a cooling water box respectively by using fixing bolts, the fixing bolts being fixed to plateau pedestals 3 that protrude in an insular fashion from a coolant flowing side face 2, these plateau pedestals 3 are at least partially projected in a coolant gap formed between the casting mold plates 1, 1a and the adapter plate or the cooling box and have a streamlined form adjusted to the flow direction S of the coolant. SOLUTION: The coolant flowing side faces 2 have cooling ribs 4, 5, 6, 6a-6d, 7, 7a, 11 that protrude into the coolant gap and are arranged between two adjacent plateau pedestals 3 in terms of a region.
