PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make discharge failure of a liquid discharge head hard to be caused, while restraining liquid consumption.SOLUTION: A control part of a printer part executes exhaust processing for executing exhaust operation by controlling an exhaust mechanism, liquid purge processing for executing a second liquid purge by controlling a liquid purge mechanism, exhaust determination processing for determining whether or not to execute the exhaust operation, and operational failure determination processing for determining whether or not an operational failure is caused in the exhaust mechanism on the basis of information on the operational failure of the exhaust mechanism. The exhaust processing is executed when determining that the exhaust operation is executed in the exhaust determination processing and when determining that an operational failure is not caused in the exhaust mechanism in the operational failure determination processing, and the liquid purge processing is executed instead without executing the exhaust processing when determining that the exhaust operation is executed in the exhaust determination processing and when determining that an operational failure is caused in the exhaust mechanism in the operational failure determination processing.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 10 |
