A device for image information collection device and an encryption method therefor. A controller of the device comprises a start unit, a query unit, a collection unit, a verification unit and an encryption unit. The encryption method for conducting image information collection using the image information collection device comprises: conducting encryption on image data using an encryption algorithm of a device, or conducting double encryption on the image data using the encryption algorithm of the device and an encryption algorithm of a user, and transmitting the encrypted image data to an output unit. The device and method guarantee, to a maximum extent, the security of image information about a user and the data security of a using party requesting using of the image information about the user. In the encryption method for image information collection, a user management module and an encryption algorithm management module delete users and encryption algorithms not frequently used, and add new users and encryption algorithms, so as to realize dynamical management of different encryption algorithms of any number of manufacturers in real time, thereby satisfying security requirements of various manufacturers. |
