PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stylus and a ring type stylus used in operating a touch panel type apparatus, easy to operate the touch panel, free of a risk for missing, and to suit the hand of any user. SOLUTION: The stylus is formed from a tip part consisting of a tapered portion coupled with a coupling part furnished with a projection in the top center and a ridge in the lower part in its central peripheral surface and a cap part whose upper part is curved largely to ahead so as to form a head and a recess, lower part is longer in the rear face than in the belly, and whose inside with an inclined bottom is hollow and furnished with an opening at the top, characterized by that the named tip part is fitted fast into the opening to establish coupling, while the ring type stylus as another embodiment consists of a heart-shaped body where a ring is dangled in the ear face lower part and a projection is formed on the top facade, characterized by that the two ends of the heart-shaped body are overhung to left and right from the ring.
