<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a monitor camera that prevents excessive wear and damage even when the camera is attached to a movable part of a hydraulic shovel or the like. <P>SOLUTION: The monitor camera (1) is attached to the movable part (4) of a work machine and monitors the working part (6a) of the work machine (2). The monitor camera (1) includes: a camera frame (12) attached to the movable part; a camera body (16) having an image sensor (20) and an imaging lens (22); a vibration-proof support mechanism (18) supporting the camera body on the camera frame in a vibration-proof manner; sensors (26x and 26y) for detecting movement of the camera body relative to the camera frame; camera body actuators (24x and 24y) for moving the camera body relative to the camera frame; and a control unit (30) for controlling, on the basis of detection signals from the sensors, the camera body actuators so as to maintain the camera body at a prescribed angle relative to the movable part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
