PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inexpensively provide a shift device capable of improving a shift feeling of a manual transmission for an automobile. SOLUTION: This shift device has a lever member 2 interlocking with a shift lever and rockably installed in a casing 1, an arm 4 rocking by interlocking with the lever member 2, a lock ball pin 5 installed in the arm 4, rotatably installing a roller 5d in a tip part and having a spring 5b energizing the roller 5d in the extending direction of the arm 4, a cam surface part 8 having a cam surface 8a of the roller 5d, and a base member 6 unrockably installed in the casing 1 and installing the cam surface part 8.
