PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary body control device capable of securely controlling generation of the vibration caused by the imbalance generated in a rotary body with a balancing means and the variation of the relative position to a roller in the balancing means; and a washing machine equipped with the same. SOLUTION: The rotary body control device controls the rotating motion of the rotary body rotatable around a rotation axis. The rotary body control device comprises an annular lace integrated with the rotary body and concentric with the rotation axis of the rotary body; the balancing means with a plurality of rollers stored movably inside the lace; a detecting means 31 for detecting beat signals generated based on the quantity of eccentricity of the rotary body generated while the rotary body is rotating and the quantity of variation of the relative position of the respective rollers in the lace; an analysis means 33 for analyzing the variation of amplitude of the beat signals detected by the detecting means 31; and a control means 32 for controlling the rotating motion of the rotary body based on the result of the analysis by the analysis means 33.
