PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically record contents of a program under viewing in accordance with a user request as a telephone linked function when dealing with a telephone call and to reproduce the recorded contents in accordance with a viewer request after the end of the call. SOLUTION: Selection setting of a plurality of prepared telephone linked processing modes is performed (S11). In such a case, condition information required for each of the processing modes is registered at the time of setting registration. After the setting registration, the state of monitoring incoming call detection is provided (S12). At a time point when an incoming call is detected, it is judged whether or not a broadcasting program is under viewing (S13), matching with the conditions of a setting registered mode is determined (S14), it is judged whether or not video recording is enabled (S15) and if all the judgements are YES, video recording is started (S16).
