PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a plurality of images to be easily utilized relating to an image recording apparatus and method for recording images into a recording medium such as a CD, a DVD, etc., an image managing apparatus and method for storing the images, an album booklet for housing an index print locating a plurality of images, and a program for making the image recording method and the image managing method to be executed by a computer. SOLUTION: The album booklet which binds a print housing unit capable of housing a plurality of index prints allocating a plurality of images by a predetermined layout is to be prepared. A communication element memorizing identification information for identifying the album booklet is to be attached to the album booklet. When a user image is to be recorded into a recording medium such as the CD etc., the index print allocating the user image is to be produced and housed into the album booklet.
