PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disposable diaper which shows an excellent adaptability to a user's posture and the variation of shapes around thighs, and has improved anti-leakage effects. SOLUTION: The disposable diaper includes a diaper body where an absorber is interposed between a liquid-permeable surface sheet and a liquid-impermeable back surface sheet, a first elastic and stretchable member for leg girth which is disposed along back and forth direction on the side parts of the diaper body, and a second elastic and stretchable member for leg girth which passes through an area closer to the center in the width direction than the first elastic and stretchable member for leg girth. The second elastic and stretchable members for leg girth are arranged from a crotch side toward each edge of abdominal side edges and back side edges, are bent at prescribed positions to be oriented to side edges in the width direction, and extend to reach positions closer to the back side edges and the abdominal side edges than to the bending parts.
