<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coolant controller which has a reliable function and can be easily manufactured. <P>SOLUTION: A coolant controller 1 for a coolant circuit of an internal combustion engine basically has a housing 7 and a thermostat valve 2 arranged therein. The thermostat valve has at least one valve closing member 16', 19' loadable by a working element 20 as a function of a temperature value, a temperature sensor 25 as well as a heating element 21 for the working element 20. The housing 7 is provided with at least one plug 24 from which connecting lines 28 extend to the temperature sensor 24. A current supply 22 for the heating element is present. The plug 24, the temperature sensor 25, the connecting lines 28 and the current supply 21 for the heating element 22 are provided as a pre-manufactured assembly and this assembly is integrated into the housing 7. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
