PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent foreign matter such as dust from entering an accessory for holding a camera through a slit formed in the accessory. SOLUTION: The accessory for holding the camera is freely attached to and detached from the bottom surface of a camera body via a lock device. A lock lever for operating the lock device projects to outside of a housing from the slit 61 formed in the rear cover 32 of the housing and is movable along the length of the slit 61. A lever curtain 81 is provided to an edge part which prescribes the circumference of the slit 61. the lever curtain 81 covers the slit 61 and allows the lock lever to move along the slit 61. Cuts 81b and 81b which extend along its width and reach the long side 81a of the lever curtain 81 are formed in the lever curtain 81.
