According to the present invention, disclosed is an apparatus for simulating a battery module to verify a function of a battery management apparatus. The apparatus for simulating a battery module is a battery module simulation apparatus for verifying a function of a battery management system (BMS) which comprises: a battery model unit storing information about actual battery modules as data; an input interface unit receiving an operation condition signal from the outside; a processing unit generating a response signal for the operation condition signal received by the input interface unit based on the battery model unit; and an output interface unit outputting the response signal generated by the processing unit to the BMS.
