PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow for continuous power supply from a charger to an electric car, even if a storage battery is not charged with sufficient power.SOLUTION: In the electric car, a charging system 100 including a storage battery 130, one or more power sources 120 different from the storage battery, and a power management device 110 for managing the power supplied from the storage battery and the power sources charges a charger 160 with the power supplied from the storage battery and the power sources. A computer mounted on the electric car receives the electric energy data, indicating a value equal to or less than the sum total of the electric energy that can be supplied from the storage battery and the power sources, calculated by the power management device, as available output data indicating the output that can be supplied by the charger, and then transmits the current value data indicating the current value required for the charging.
