PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide novel anthracene derivatives, novel materials capable of obtaining blue light emission with high color purity, and to provide a light-emitting element, a light-emitting device, and an electronic apparatus using the same.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to an anthracene derivative in which a carbazole derivative functional group is bonded at both positions of the 9- and the 10-position of anthracene or at only one position of the same, a blue light-emitting element with improved color purity using the same, an image display device or a light-emitting device using the light-emitting element, and a light-emitting device such as a module including a light-emitting element attached with a connector, such as an anisotropic conductive film, a TAB (tape automated bonding) tape, or a TCP (tape carrier package) and a module in which an IC (integrated circuit) is directly mounted on the light-emitting element by COG (chip on glass), and an electronic apparatus.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
