PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a database management device for distributing loads generated in arranging the transaction ID of a database. SOLUTION: This method for managing a database for performing reading or writing with a database with a page including a plurality of records, and for preparing new records for every processing when the value of the data of the records stored in the database changes includes reading a page including the identification number information of the records being the object of reading, and removing the records, when the record identification number of the page is older than the latest identification number attached to transaction by a prescribed value, from the object of determination of the sequence of the records.
