Ported catheter assemblies are disclosed that include a catheter hub (10) having a distal end (14), an interior cavity (13), and a proximal end (12), a port (15) extending from the catheter hub and communicating with the interior cavity of the catheter hub, a catheter (40) extending from the distal end of the catheter hub, and a seal (20) formed between the port and the interior cavity of the catheter hub. The port is radially offset from the catheter hub, such that a central axis of the port and a central axis of the interior cavity of the catheter hub do not intersect and are offset from each other.
