PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a quick response and low loss heat pump device. SOLUTION: The heat pump device 200 comprises a compressor 201, a radiator 202, an expander 203 and an evaporator 204. The compressor 201 and the expander 203 are disposed in the same container and coupled with a shaft 213 to form an expander-integrated compressor 211. The expander 203 is a variable volume expander comprising a variable volume mechanism 207. A controller 208 controls the variable volume mechanism 207 to change the suction volume of the expander 203 according to the rotating speed of the compressor 201 and expander 203.
