PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering device which enables improvement of rigidity.SOLUTION: A column jacket 8 includes an outer jacket 50 and an inner jacket 40 which slide relative to each other in an axial direction to enable telescopic adjustment. The inner jacket 40 has an outer periphery 41 which fits in an inner periphery 50b of the outer jacket 50. A base end 61 of an engagement member 60 is fixed to the inner jacket 40. The inner periphery 50b of the outer jacket 50 includes: a guide groove 54; and a stopper 55 which is disposed at an end part of the guide groove 54 and engages with the engagement member 60 to restrict removal of the inner jacket 40. The guide groove 54 causes the engagement member 60 to fit therein and guides axial movement of the inner jacket 40 through the engagement member 60. The guide groove 54 includes a bottom part 54a facing a tip 62 of the engagement member 60.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
