Provided is a method for providing a service for safe use of a public transportation of a public transportation service providing system, which enables communications between a public transportation terminal attached to the public transportation and a user terminal by a beaconing method. The method for providing a service for safe use of the public transportation includes the following steps: the user terminal recognizes the public transportation terminal by the beaconing method and acquires vehicle information of the public transportation terminal; the user terminal checks whether the public transportation is a normally registered vehicle based on the vehicle information and informs a user; when the user terminal acquires destination information from the user and provides the same, the public transportation terminal calculates a driving route to a destination and sets the same; the user terminal tracks and analyzes a location of the user in real time, and additionally checks a traffic condition of the driving route if the location of the user deviates from the driving route; and the user terminal determines the vehicle is normally driving if there is a traffic jam in the driving route, and if not, transmits a risky situation occurrence message to a preregistered guardian terminal. |
