PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to provide detailed information on a commodity too much to display in a menu to a customer with a voice and to improve service by incorporating a voice reproducing device capable of reproducing information on a recording medium recording the explanation of the menu. SOLUTION: By reproducing the voice information of the explanation of the menu beforehand recorded on the recording medium 7, the detailed explanation of the commodity is provided to the customer. Further, by providing not only reproducing, but also a recording function, the addition, erasure and correction of the menu are made possible. An analog voice signal inputted from a microphone 1 is inputted to a digital signal processing part(DSP) 5 after it is converted into a digital signal by an A/D converter 4. The DSP 5 compression processes the digital signal to record it on the recording medium 7. Then, the digital signal read out from the recording medium 7 under the control of a system control part 6 is expanded by the DSP 5 to be amplified and to be sounded from a speaker 11 after it is converted to the analog signal by a D/A converter 9. |
