PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the occurrence of vertical stripe images while improving usability at a low cost without requiring a user to open a sealing member.SOLUTION: There is provided a developer container comprising: a storage chamber that includes an opening and stores a developer; a rotary member that is provided in the storage chamber and rotatably supported; a conveyance member that conveys the developer stored in the storage chamber; and a sealing member that seals the opening, the developer container performing an opening operation of taking up the sealing member sealing the opening with the rotary member in association with rotation of the rotary member to open the opening, wherein from the start of opening of the opening to the completion of the opening during the opening operation, a free end of the conveyance member is between a straight line connecting an upstream end in the opening direction of the opening and the center of rotation of the rotary member and a straight line connecting a downstream end in the opening direction of the opening and the center of rotation.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
