PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a security system which can be easily attached to an existing multiple dwelling house for promoting dealing with visitors. SOLUTION: This security system 1 is provided with a wireless terminal 2 disposed in each dwelling, a base relay 3 to wirelessly relay signals from the wireless terminal 2, a telephone switchboard 4 provided with an extension function connected to the base relay 3 through a relay communication cable 8, a multiple line interphone 5 connected to the telephone switchboard 4 and installed on the side of a common entrance 9, and an electronic lock 6 to be temprarily unlocked based on an unlocking command given by operation of the wireless terminal 2 through the telephone switchboard 4. The electronic lock 6 can be unlocked by operation in accordance with call through the multiple line interphone or willing operation of an owner of the wireless terminal 2. In this case, wiring in each dwelling is not necessary, so this security system 1 can be easily attached to the existing multiple dwelling house 10. Dealing with visitors becomes constantly possible as far as the owner is inside the multiple dwelling house 10 even outside the owner's own dwelling.
