PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet head cleaning method and apparatus for effectively removing substances which causes nozzle clogging. SOLUTION: The inkjet head 100 comprises: an ink supply port; an ink chamber to which ink is supplied from the ink supply port; and a pressure generator, and is provided with: nozzles to discharge ink in the ink chamber to the outside by the pressure chamber to which ink is supplied from the ink chamber and by pressure generation in the pressure chamber by the pressure generator; and a driver circuit to drive the pressure generator, wherein a cross section of at least a part of an ink supply path from the ink chamber through to a distal end of the nozzle is formed tapered toward a downstream side of an ink flow.
