PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article having comfortable touch whose leaking-prevention side parts and wing parts are formed of different materials. SOLUTION: This sanitary napkin has an absorbent layer 11 and a leaking-prevention layer 12, and an absorbent body 10 which is practically formed in vertically long shape, a pair of side parts 5, 5 for prevention of leaking which cover the both sides of the longitudinal direction, and a wing-shape part 6 extending outward from the side end 10a in the longitudinal direction of the body 10, and the leaking-prevention side part 5 is formed of a sheet 51 of forming the side leaking prevention part, and the sheet 51 is folded back outward of the width direction of the body 10 in order to position a folded part 52 on the unfolded part 53, and the wing-shape part 6 is formed of a sheet 61 of forming the wing part, and the end 61a on the side of the body 10 of a sheet 61 is covered with the folded part 52, and the end edge 52a of the folded part 52 is positioned inward from the width direction of the body 10 from the end edge 53a of the unfolded part 53.
