The invention relates to a device for locking a first cowling and a second cowling of a thrust reverser of an aircraft propulsion assembly, said cowlings being mounted so as to each pivot around a longitudinal axis between a closed flight position and an open maintenance position, the locking device comprising a telescopic connecting rod (20) which comprises at least one sliding shaft (26), a locking means of the proximal end (34) of the shaft (26) on the second cowling, and a connecting rod support (24), characterised in that the connecting rod support (24), or the tubular element (28) of the connecting rod (20), comprises two walls (42a, 42b) each delimiting a hole (44a, 44b), and in that the tubular element (28) of the connecting rod (20), or respectively the connecting rod support (24), has two support fingers (48a, 48b) which each extend generally longitudinally on either side of the tubular element (28) into one of said holes (44a, 44b), said holes being suitable for engaging with the support fingers (48a, 48b) when the cowlings are open and for allowing a free movement of the support fingers (48a, 48b) in a closed-cowlings configuration. |
