<p>A lens forming method, a lens manufactured by the same, a method for manufacturing an electronic component package having the lens, and an electronic component package having the same are provided to easily form the lens in a dome shape by coating an optical transmission material with silicon having high viscosity, without using a mold or adhesive. A method for forming a lens in an electronic component package, in which a first optical transmission material(30) is horizontally filled in a cavity, comprises the steps of adhering a second liquid optical transmission material(32) having desired viscosity on an upper surface of the first optical transmission material, and curing the second optical transmission material into a gel state during a predetermined gelation time. A damp is formed along an outer portion of the upper opening of the cavity.</p> |
