The present invention proposes an application program running method, an application program running apparatus, and a terminal. The application program running method comprises: when the terminal is running in a target operating system, determining whether a designated application program in the target operating system receives a first running instruction; when a determining result is yes, controlling the terminal to switch from the target operating system to a designated operating system, and running the designated application program in the designated operating system, where a security level of the target operating system is higher than a security level of the designated operating system, and the designated application program comprises: an application program that generates a data service. By means of the technical solution of the present invention, when a terminal is running in an operating system having a relatively high security level, a user can still flexibly run an application program that needs support by a data service without switching an operating system, and security of history data generated by these application programs is ensured. |
