PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide novel 1,1-bis(4-hydroxyphenyl)-3,3,5-trimethylcyclohexane derivative compounds capable of providing, e.g., a polyester resin that has high purity and is excellent in heat resistance, flexibility, weather resistance and the like.SOLUTION: A 1,1-bis(4-acyloxyphenyl)-3,3,5-trimethylcyclohexane is represented by the general formula (1).
