PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new reactive surfactant used for producing a synthetic resin excellent in water resistance. SOLUTION: The reactive surfactant containing the compounds shown by the formula is used as an emulsion polymerization auxiliary. In the formula, R1 is a 6-30C hydrocarbon group; R2 is an H atom or a methyl group; A is a 2-3C alkylene group; (a) is 0 or an integer of 1-15; (b) is an integer of 1-15; (c) is 0 or an integer of 1-20; M is an H atom, an alkali neutralized salt or ammonium of amines or the like.
