The support element (S) comprises a flat base plate (1) with foot part (2.1) set along the front edge at an angle. The support element is secured on the drinks crate by a holder which has two clamping jaws (2,3,4,6) of which one (6) is displaceable relative to the other. The clamping jaws can be designed like claws and the movable jaw is displaced against the force of a resetting spring (7). The holder connects the support element to the handle of the crate.
