A method and a system for providing information by using an image code, and a recording medium are disclosed. The method for providing information by using an image code, the method being implemented by a computer, can comprise the steps of: recognizing an image code; extracting information on the color printed on the image code from the recognized image code; determining information matched with the color information from a database in which pieces of information related to the image code are stored; and providing the determined information.
