PURPOSE: A recliner for a vehicle seat is provided to prevent the deviation of a stopper by supporting the stopper coupled to both sides of a shaft steadily through the outer circumference of the shaft. CONSTITUTION: A recliner for a vehicle seat comprises a shaft(11) and a hub(10). In the outer circumference of the shaft, a plurality of toothed parts(110) are formed at regular intervals. In the central part of one of the toothed parts, a tooth-shaped groove(100) for directional regulation is formed. In the inner circumference of the hub, a plurality of tooth-shaped grooves is formed at regular intervals to insert and couple the toothed parts. In the central part of one of the toothed parts, a burr part(101) for directional regulation is additionally projected. The burr part for directional regulation is inserted to a tooth-shaped groove for directional regulation of the shaft.
