CLARITHROMYCIN-CONTAINING DRIED LIPOSOME COMPOSITION

PURPOSE: A clarithromycin-containing dried liposome composition is provided. The composition promotes coefficient of utilization of clarithromycin in vivo by solubilizing clarithromycin, putting off a loss thereof in vivo and minimizing pain when injecting, and is superior in physical and chemical stability. CONSTITUTION: A clarithromycin-containing dried liposome composition is composed of clarithromycin of 0.5-30 wt.% as a main element, oil of 0.2-10 wt.%, preferably 2-5 wt.%, phospholipid of 1.2-60 wt.%, preferably, 45-60 wt.%, cholesterol of 0.5-20 wt.%, preferably 5-10 wt.% and filler for preparing dried liposome of 2.1-50 wt. %. The clarithromycin-containing dried liposome composition is prepared by applying dehydration-rehydration method.
